Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia treatment
Neonates and children: 0.05 mg/kg IV push, then increase bolus doses by 0.05 mg/kg q 2 min until a clinical response occurs or a maximum dose of either 0.25 mg/kg or 12 mg is achieved.
Adults: 6 mg IV push; if no response in 2 min, give 12 mg IV push. May repeat 12 mg IV bolus if needed.
